Does not matter what we believe. Go home, unpack it, and check it out. Everything else is negligent of you. If it is broken you get, even as a private seller, problems.
So if it's completely wrapped up and you're not rattling over it with the Nike right now, I'd rather say it's still alright. Can it check for safety again, would be only fair to the buyer.
