Will the May update for Win 10 ever come to the previously incompatible Windows versions?

At work we have a couple of laptops on which the May update is still not available. As a hint it has been there for 6 months that it is still in preparation… Will that ever come again? Simply installing the currently existing update manually on incompatible devices should often cause problems, so I won't do that.
