I downloaded adobe lightroom via a link under a YouTube video that led to google drive. Sllerdings I would like to delete it again. There's then but that the program is still open on this folder and I must first conclude this. But it is not open. Have also already looked in the task manager. So I think that I was hooked. So I have now with lockhunter deleted the file and made a virus scan. However, it always shows at the shutdown that a program is running in the background. It also indicated when I wanted to delete the files. How can I find out what it is and delete it or something?
I do not know what that could be, but for me is always shutdown, running in the background programs or closed. With me, I can still shut down anyway! Does that work for you too?
Yes, I can already shut it down. However, I have the feeling that the virus program is still running in the background
Look at the task bar on the far right to see if the program is open or open the taskmanager and go to background processes. Maybe you'll see it there. If that's it go in the task manager still up on auto start ind look if the program is there activity-deactivates it
Nah, that's not a hack, but the normal everyday madness.
Adobe uses some background processes that are designed to integrate with the system and are often still running. On top of that comes the whole Adobe Cloud - nonsense.
However, you can systematically use the Task Manager to invoke the program path to any running process, and kill all the processes that ran from the subfolders of Adobe software.
If the Windows Explorer itself is the reason (because of, for example, an Explorer extension of Lightroom) then you can shoot down the Explorer itself. Get off the system in any case, you just have to be persistent. :>
Then I have no idea, but if the virus program does not find anything, then maybe that's not a virus!
