Theoretically, that should go with your laptop easily… You can look into the task manager what is all overloaded while you are in premiere, but you will not help much.
I'm not sure how it is at premiere but in after effects you can, for example, the preview quality runterstellen so that the computer comes along better if it is much to process. Maybe that helps
