Hi, my problem is the following: I have a new laptop and have Adobe Premiere Pro on it and wanted to create a video. The video in Premiere Pro shows nothing but liquid, but if it refreshes after maybe 1 minute and remains a still image. I have googled and tried things several times, but it does not work. Since I have no solution anymore, I think it's because of my camera. This is a Nikon D5300 and a bit older, but still a good camera for my taste. But I think that there are problems with the interaction, can someone confirm that?

If the video runs smoothly in other programs without editing, then it's not on the camera. Using Premiere Pro on a laptop could be the cause. You already need a PC with a good processor and about 16 GB of RAM.

Secondly check times if you can choose with your camera, perhaps other settings for video, so it works better. For a 5300 is not that old that it does not produce a premiere-compliant video.
And for your further question, you can't really help without knowing a budget. Good video cameras are available from about 400 to 20,000 euro.
