Micro is not recognized?

Got a stand microphone, which has a 3.5mm connection with 3 contacts and the stereo connection on my laptop also has 3 connections and it also fits overall. To do something? Drivers bring nothing

You have not deactivated the microphone in the control panel or somewhere else?
Defective cable?
Defective connection?

No, everything is fine and nothing is recognized in the system control or sounds

Hmm, do you have a buddy where you could test the mic?

Habs tried on another laptop did not work either, it was recognized but it was marked as not connected

Oh dear, I don't know anything right now. Maybe another user knows more…
