On the laptop (Windows 10), however, the following problem: The WLAN is recognized at full strength, but as soon as it connects to it, the signal is very bad. I suspect that he then has the connection to the original network, because it was just as weakly receivable before. Can I configure the network connection on the laptop so that the repeater signal is selected without changing the SSID of the repeater?

Since it works on the phone, I suspect it's a laptop configuration problem.

Either if fritzbox is available, activate mesh, because then the network will be expanded without loss.
