I would like to make backups of my PS1 games.

Now it is like that, if you burn PS1 games, the writing speed max. At 4x may be, but my laptop min. 10x supported.

someone knows (preferably externally) burner which supports 1x, 2x, 4x writing speed?

Re

I hardly believe that you can burn the games.

ca

I've already burned, only too fast… I need a burner with max. 4x write speed

bl

It used to be like that. Since the CD burner had a maximum speed of 24x. The technology has gotten better. That should also go with 10x. Just try it out. To play you need a MOD chip in the Playstation.

ca

I have everything! Only that is too fast for the PS1

bl

MOD chip is in it too?

Re

I suppose the copy protection complains.

ca

No… Have already a coppierte CD… Only because my burner burns with 10x because the PS does not lag behind… The game starts. Only with jerks.

Dr

This can be set in many burning programs (eg CDBurnerXP, freeware) before the burning process (maximum burn rate).
Exactly for the reason, if necessary, to slow down "overzealous" burners a bit and thus to allow a better burning quality.

ca

It depends on the burner. I always get the slowest is what my burner can 10x is

Dr

Sapperlot. This problem is new to me. Since I know now synonymous no advice.

Re

Which burning program do you use?

ca

From Deep Burner to imgBurn

ca

Yes

You will not find a drive on the market that supports such low write speeds. And if (possibly used) No blanks, which supports. Probably not a driver for Windows 10. The only thing you can try is to use another manufacturer for blanks. Verbatim was always the first choice back then.
