Everything is stored on the drive Windows (C.) This drive is only 118GB in size and I still have a 915GB drive named DATA (D. Can I save applications and other standard on this drive and works then everything else? The space would otherwise be very close

That's fine.

In the user folders "My Pictures", "My Documents", "Downloads", etc. Can you specify where to save them? Make a right-click on the respective folder and select the entry "Properties" in the context menu. In the now opened window you can specify the location in the "Path" tab.

For programs, you can choose during installation where they should be saved. You have to select the "Custom installation" section wise.
For games that are installed via applications such as Steam, Origin or Uplay, you can select in the settings of the appropriate program where the games are to be saved.
