I'm in despair! Already for the umpteenth time my mp3 files tried to transfer to the SDXC (tried on a 512 GB and a 1TB). What works without problems with the classic external hard drives simply does not work with SDXC! Most folders are always empty! I delete, repair and dub new. Then the capacity of the SDXC becomes smaller (less), but the folders are still empty! I have already sent in the laptop because supposedly up to 2 TB can be transferred to the Mini-SD. Everything has been changed, but the problem is not resolved.
Partitioning doesn't help either, because strangely enough I can only access the 1st partition of the SDXC…
Sounds like a file system error.
Should be removed after formatting.
Do a memory test.
With the laptop.
No, I have formatted the SDXC mini card several times! In NTFS, exFat, in standard clusters, with recommended cluster sizes, with partitioning (can also be formatted).
Progressive dubbing did not work either. SDXC is always full. The folder structure is there, but the mp3 files are not (folder empty!) Why?
I also "checked and repaired" the memory card using Windows Tools. Nothing helps.
Do you have access to a Linux system?
Give it a try. A live system would work too.
