I have a Windows Surface laptop - I wanted to free it from lots of data today and wanted to reboot windows. When it was time & he restarted, the errors came. It does not work at all and restarts permanently.
Various tutorials did not help. Rebuilding Windows with a USB stick did not work either. I really think that the laptop has a massive damage - but it was by no means own fault.
The laptop was purchased at Saturn in 2018 - so it's still in warranty. What else am I entitled to? I would prefer a coupon to buy the newer model directly.
But it was by no means own fault
The behavior therefore occurred for the first time directly after a data delete action. But there's a lot of evidence of self-neglect.
It's unlikely that a guarantee will cover that. But you can still check the warranty terms.
If you mean the so-called "warranty" of the dealer instead of the guarantee, you will have to prove that the item was already broken when you purchased it. You will not succeed.
Did you reinstall the Windows over the USB stick?
I tried. But unfortunately did not work - the error persists
Where did he get stuck with the new install. Did you download the recovery image?
It all depends on what the manufacturer has given warranty (and whether the damage was not caused by you). How long a manufacturer gives a guarantee is his own business. The statutory warranty is valid for two years.
