I have a Casio WK1300 keyboard which I would like to connect to my laptop in order to play sounds in the Audacity program.

Would be very grateful if someone could give me a possibility here.

The device has the following connections:

Midi in / out
Phones output
Assignable Jack

Need a cable with 2 times male. One plug into the keboard headphone hole and the other into the micro-input of the laptop. If you go to audacity rec (possibly even so), it indicates that something is happening

On the AJ you can usually only use external pedals for e.g. B. Connect Sustain.

As far as I know, Audacity can't process midi, so you need a midi program. All that remains is the phone connection in order to be able to import sound data directly into Audacity. However, the tones are amplified accordingly, so you have to turn the level down properly if you want to record a sound that is as undistorted as possible. An AUX socket would be better, but you don't have one.

An audio interface with decent drivers makes sense to keep the latency low. Otherwise you play a second track and it suddenly has a second offset!

Then connect the output of the keyboard to this audio interface etc.

Please don't, that sounds awful. The built-in sound chips are almost always terribly bad…

For less than 50 euro you can get an acceptable audio interface. Simply connect something to the laptop via USB and you have 100x better recording quality.
