Can I have 2 operating systems on my laptop?

On my laptop is Windows 10 and on a USB stick I have Linux (Solus OS).

Can I then switch on with which operating system the laptop should turn on?

You can customize the Windows boot menu so you can switch between Win 10 and Solus OS. You can do this using a tool like EasyBCD:
