Change Win10 username is not working?

I would like to change my username on my laptop. When I go into the control panel, go to user accounts, it is not there that I can change my name. If I click change on my own account types, it says, it's not because I'm the only admin and need to create a new account, which I choose as an administrator. How can I change my name without having to create a new account?

Changing usernames is usually not a good idea, because then group mappings may not be correct and security identifiers, SID for short, can no longer be assigned and the user becomes unusable.

With the Microsoft Management Console MMC you can change the user name> Windows key + R> lusrmgr.msc> run> user> right click on the user and change name

I would simply create a new user with the desired permissions.
