Are there some students here?
I would soon like to get an ipad (315 euro new at Amazon) for my studies, because a laptop is too expensive for me. In your opinion, would that be a possible replacement for a laptop if I still get such a keyboard for it, or is it hard to buy a notebook while studying?
That would be like riding your bike in a car race, you're coming to the finish, but everyone else has a lot easier.
You are already missing the simple file management alone and Office versions are, if at all only mitigated, complete misinvestment.
Yes, but you can also take a cheap laptop / ultrabook, these start from about 100 euro
Office you get full and NEN file manager is synonymous
If you do not need any special programs for your studies, but only write down and create chores, presentations, etc., it is enough. For the latter stuff, I find a laptop but more pleasant, especially since the iPad is not very big.
Define soon. September or October comes the new iPad 10.2, which will replace the 9.7, I would probably wait. At the same time, I'm also sticking to it, if one can write on it useful.
Otherwise it depends on what you want to do with it. And of course, what you study. Whether you're typing any reviews on a rickety notebook keyboard or on the nem iPad flipcover keyboard. It's getting harder when it comes to programming.
Just look for PDFs and maybe even write digitally a tablet is of course better suited. It is also much easier to handle. You have to know what you need. You'll get useful notebooks for the money already.
What kind of studies?
In engineering, math, computer science or physics… Is a laptop incredibly practical - there are many programs only for Windows / Linux.
With only one ipad, you would not get far. Alternative would be a Surface on which at least some programs should run.
It is probably not so relevant in the humanities. With a good Bluetooth keyboard should then also, for example. Let's write well.
