Port sharing doesn't work as planned?

So maybe I already know the problem, but I don't know a solution.

I wanted to host a Minecraft server on my PC, the server and my PC are fine. I learned from a video that I have to release ports and that I should create a domain (or what you call it) that keeps the IP the same.

It used to work where I did it on my laptop, because I suspect the laptop was directly connected to the Wi-Fi. The server worked and I was able to play with friends.

But now comes the problem. If I have a PC, I use a Wi-Fi extension thing that enlarges the Wi-Fi and I have connected my PC via a LAN cable. I now suspect that this means that the PC is not directly connected to the Wi-Fi, this domain no longer works, but the IP itself also no longer works. And now I know how to do it with the domain or how to set it up so that my friends who want to join are directed from my Wi-Fi router to my extension thing and then to my PC.

I thank you in advance for answers.

And besides being a provider of the domain, I use NOIP. If it helps somehow.

Which hosting program do you use?

Ga

Seems like you have 2 subnets.

Have a look on your devices which have IP including netmask.

And turn off 1 of both DHCP. 2 DHCP servers are no fun. You can manage them via your wlanpoint and your router.
