My microsoft computer can no longer go back to the start screen. What can I do?

My laptop can no longer go back to the start screen, so even the taskbar is empty and does not even shrink the screen so that two apps run at the same time. If you click on the windows symbol (with everybody) you get to this window because I'm "caught" in full screen mode. It also does not start again and I felt like I tried everything. Please answer quickly because I have online classes!

If you're caught in full-screen mode, try pressing the ESC key or F11 (note that you don't have the F-Lock in it).
