I have to do an 8min presentation. In order for me to reach the time I would like to have a timer displayed on the laptop. But without it being visible on the presentation. Is that possible?
When you start the presentation via the beamer, you usually see the time running on the laptop. The others see your presentation via the beamer.
Do not do that complicated. Ask the teacher beforehand and then just put the phone with timer in front of the laptop.
Even professionals often have a timer to divide their time better, because the teacher will say nothing against the phone.
Just hold the presentation in the speaker's view. There you have your notes and it runs with the start of the presentation a clock. You do not need more?
