Why is Subnautica running on my VR but not normally on my PC?

I can easily open and play Subnautica on my VR, but if I want to play the game normally on the PC, a black window only comes up for a few seconds and then closes again.
I have already deleted the game several times and downloaded it again, but it has not changed anything.
I tried it on my laptop and it works fine there, but I want to play it on my PC because it's more powerful.

Does anyone have any idea how I can solve the problem?

Are you starting the right game? Since there's an extra section in Steam and also ne demand whether you want to play it in VR or normal.
