I have the following problem. There's only one socket in my entire room, but I need power for my PC, my LED bar, my cell phone, my lamp, my stereo and sometimes to charge my laptop. Anything on a power outlet is likely to short circuit, haven't tried it. Laying cables all over the house is also not a solution. Are there any other options?
Anything on an outlet will likely short out
Rubbish. Except for the PC, none of this has any significant energy consumption. LEDs, modern lamps, laptops and mobile phone chargers have very low wattages.
What other options should there be?
Why should that lead to a short circuit do you even know what a short circuit is? Ne can easily operate everything from a socket
Except for multiple plugs, you have no choice.
But there will not be a short circuit anyway, if at all an overload, and the consumers mentioned are not sufficient for this.
You can hang everything on the socket. Is not a problem with the devices mentioned, since everything "consumes relatively little power."
Up to 16A or ~ 3600W can be tapped from a socket. The same applies to higher quality power strips. The devices you mentioned should not consume / require much more than 1000W if you plugged them all in or switched them on.
With the few devices, the socket is hardly overloaded.
