How can I convince my parents of a new PC?

So the question is at the top…

I have already tried everything, enumerated pro and contra, helped more in the household and even improved my grade editing with Corona.

However, I got my first laptop about 1.5 years ago (which I think was early on) and that is one of their key arguments. But it only has a built-in graphics unit, etc. And it doesn't even create Minecraft smoothly (lowe shaders with an average of 7 FPS!). Now I want to build one for myself for 750 euro. What do you think? Am I spoiled and if not, how can I convince my parents?

They are also afraid that e.g. Part of it is broken, I'm doing something wrong, etc.

Ki

Do you pay yourself or do you want to convince your parents of this investment?

pe

Yes, you are very spoiled! You don't need such an expensive PC.

Perhaps your parents have no money or do not know what the future will bring for them (unemployment, short-time work due to Corona, etc!). Then they will now be understandably financially very careful and will not or can't spend € 750 on you.

Es

I can't pay myself; if at all half or half, but of course the best thing would be if I didn't have to pay anything.

Oa

The basic consideration should first go to whether your parents can afford so much money at all.

Li

Hm… 1 x mowing the lawn = 5 euro

best you cut the lawn 200 times and ZACK, you have the coal together!

Es

I don't think that's the problem.

Oa

You think but you don't know. Parents don't usually talk to their kids about money worries. Think about how you can make money, create a concept and ask your parents what they are willing to do. That sounds better than simply asking 750 euro.

Es

Yes, of course you are right!

fi

Sell your cell phone, then your parents will surely add the rest to the PC

If not, then convince them to hand over your laptop.

In this way you at least make sacrifices yourself and do not burden your parents.

Is not the best, but at least a way to a little independence.

Es

Well, I can understand you very well.

Es

Well, but then I don't have a cell phone anymore. That would be practical at least for phone calls xD

pe

It's nice that you can understand me well. But you should understand YOUR PARENTS very well and not me! You will have their reasons! - :))

Es

Yes, I do that too…

Cu

Try out a newspaper.

fi

Now you see how important your new PC really is to you.

Making sacrifices is highly valued.

You can also make a phone call with an old part, have an S3 cook here, you can have given it as a gift, WhatsApp is still possible.

Suggest that to his parents, then you will see how they react.

Es

Hmm right.

Ce

Especially since 750 euro is a lot of money for many parents.
