How to take photos on the laptop

Well… The question above is not really correct. So:

I knew how to take the photos on the laptop, but somehow I set it to stop working. I really don't know what to do right now. I can no longer take photos of my assignments and send them to my teachers. There's only this camera mark that's crossed out.

You can also: Scan in, download them from your mobile phone via the cloud to your laptop, or send them from your mobile phone to your own e-mail (to the laptop) if you need the photos quickly

You mean screenshots?

On Windows 10 and 8.1, the easiest way is to press Win + Print. The screen dims briefly as a visual confirmation. A screenshot is saved in the images directory.

With Ctrl + Shift + S you can create a screenshot in which only the desired screen section is shown.

No, I meant photos. Screenshots I know how to do that. But once (again 😅) I did something on my laptop and yes…

I'm not allowed to use cell phones

Do you have a scanner That should work. Otherwise, you could just type out all of the documents in Word.

Scan in or tap Word

You mean a photo on the camera built into the laptop?

You can play the video signal of the camera e.g. With programs like the https://www.videolan.org/vlc/ or https://obsproject.com/de.

VLC allows you to take a picture of what you see.
Otherwise, you can also take a screenshot of the camera signal being played back.

There are function keys F1 - F12 on your laptop. These are provided with symbols. There should be a key, for me F11 should have a camera symbol so that you can switch it on or off. Try that.
