I flattened the laptop for a friend and upgraded from windows 7 to Windows 10. When I reinstalled everything, I found that the official version of Office 2007 is no longer available for download. Can I somehow still get it legally? I read the product key and the ID beforehand.
Okay, you probably upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 due to the end of support. This is understandable and correct.
But why do you want to install Office 2007 when no updates are released there either? It doesn't make sense to me. As far as I know, you can't legally download Office 2007 anywhere else.
Think about whether a new version of Ms-Office makes sense or an alternative like OpenOffice.
No, Microsoft probably no longer offers this for download, but it is over https://softwarefreund.de/microsoft-office-2007-professional-plus.html
still available.
You won't find anything that you can download without hesitation.
I would switch to either Office365 or Libreoffice instead.
The latter only if you don't have great macros running.
I know the site. The Sell Volume Licenses. I got Office 2013 there and after a year I had to do everything again and received the message that the serial number is blocked. So Microsoft called and asked… They confirmed that it is a volume license for companies and that these were sold by various dealers to private individuals.

OK.

This is a good thing, because Office 2007 is neither approved nor recommended for use under Win 10. The minimum would be Office 2010, and that will also expire in 2020; In this respect, the right way would be to purchase Office 2016 or 2019, so that there's peace again for the next 5 years.
Oh, I got away "happily" with my Office 2016, that was a "student license" that was not "blown out".
I have been using it for 3 years and acquired it there.
There are cheaper on Ebay!
The eBay providers are usually just as bad.
Pick up 15 euro and buy an Office 2010 license. You will get the download link right away…
No actually not, I've had it for 2 years and never had a problem. And if so, I can afford a new key for 5 euro, it doesn't matter.
