Windows 10 CD bought but no CD player on the laptop?

I ordered a laptop with Windows 10 Pro CD

Unfortunately, I forgot to check whether the laptop even has a cd input and well - of course it doesn't.

Can I do anything with the CD now? Can I somehow drag this onto a USB stick or something?

You can download an ISO file of Windows 10 from a friend and create a bootable USB stick and use the activation code on the CD. Just make sure it's the same version of Windows.

If so, you don't need a CD, put it away, download win10 as an ISO file (or media creation tool). You can then use the Rufus tool to generate it on a USB stick.
