I still like to play the Sims 3 from time to time and have a huge number of expansions. However, I also like many people's exchanges which can be downloaded. But every time I download this my game crashes after a while and everything that was not saved is gone.
I don't understand why. First the time in Sims stops although the symbols are moving and then a black screen appears and "the sims3 no longer react"
Can someone help me on this? I had the problem on 2 different laptops.
If the game has crashed, make sure that the "current game" folder is empty the next time you start it. Otherwise delete the content beforehand.
I haven't played Sims in a while and don't know all the solutions to problems. But check girlfriend for problems with Sims. Parts from the Exchange in particular tend to cause the creation of a certain file that hinders the flow of the game. I just don't know what it's called anymore
I would uninstall and then reinstall it again. Always worked for me
