Move free space to system C?

I have deleted a necessary partition (volume) and now there's a green box with 90.45 GB free space.

Can you combine the two c's and the free space?

I have a windows 7 ultimate laptop.

Hope you can help.

Yes you can. https://praxistipps.chip.de/...ehts_30961

Since you have already deleted the partition, just skip this step.

That's not that's C: zoom in volume is only gray and you can't click.

What should I do?

Cu

Is your volume really deleted? So in the sections where the partitions are an area where "not assigned" is? This is actually only grayed out if there's no more space available.

Oh and one more thing: Before the extension of the partition, I would possibly make a backup.

Cu

Or. I just see that the free memory in the volume management must be located to the right of the partition that you want to expand otherwise this is probably not possible with Windows on-board resources.

You can z. B. Format the free space without assigning it a drive letter. With a few tricks you can make these two partitions a "bundle". But it's slower and more error prone than a contiguous partition.

The best solution is to back up all existing partitions, create new partitions of the desired sizes, and replay the partitions.

It is also possible to move the partitions to C to the end and then to enlarge the first partition C. There are own tools for this, which are best booted with an own operating system from USB stick. - Since this always something can go wrong, you should either way make a backup of the existing partitions or at least the files that you can't reinstall. (Do not forget that this includes many hidden files and registry entries.)
