Ubuntu laptop no longer starts

I start it, I only see this.

What do I have to do?

Pe

That is a boot problem. No start device can be found. Linux is not even loaded, the PC remains in the UEFI. Check if the plate is connected. Press F12 or F10 at start. Then select your primary hard drive.

This is a blue screen. You either have Viruse on your PC or your drivers are installed incorrectly (can pass automatically after the time) or some part has broken down.

Your hard drive was not detected or your Windows is deleted.

Me

As far as I can tell he doesn't find the operating system.

Try a restart. (ie. Hold down the power button for approx. 10 seconds until the screen turns black, then wait again briefly (20 s.) and then switch it on again.

Do not use this method too often, it is not so good for the computer ^^

But it doesn't have to be right, I've never had the problem.

If you are not sure, just contact Technical Support…

Ahh, no! This is not a blue screen or a virus!

Ja

Yes, to laugh at what unsuspecting people there are haha

Sa

I only see UEFI there

Ja

You have no idea haha

Na

The Läppi can't find a bootable medium. Neither internal (SATA) nor external (USB or network).

Had the same problem a few weeks ago on my daughter's lap. 22Joshi22's method helped exactly once. Ultimately, the hard drive was over (engine failure).

After all, the second paragraph is not completely out of the toilet…

But that with the blue screen and the drivers that break automatically after "the time" is hopefully a "joke".

Open the bios and change the boot order so that the disk on which Ubuntu is installed is number 1.

Has it happened to a pc of mine that he has upset the boot order out of the blue?

Sa

I think my laptop no longer sees the hard drive. Because there I only see UEFI for the Boot Options under Boot

ch

Hard disk defect?

You can use a live system to see if everything is still ok with the hard drive.

Sa

I think it works, I had Ubuntu and Windows in dual boot and then I used Gparted to delete the Windows partition. Since then, my hard drive is no longer recognized.
