Uninstall Sims4 and install it on another device. Data gone?

I already installed Sims 4 on my laptop some time ago. Now I have bought a PC and want to uninstall Sims4 on the laptop and reinstall it on the PC. I'm concerned that my score may be gone. Is that so, and if so, can I prevent it?

If you got it on Steam, right click on the game -> Properties -> See picture
There you can then simply save the game file.

I installed it through Origin.

Then try this at Origin:
In Origin, open My Games Library.
Right click on your game.
Click on Game Properties.
Click on Cloud Storage.
