How long do your children / teenagers spend on their laptop / PC / console?

During the holidays, I play every evening from 8 p.m. To around 1 a.m.

Poor children.

My condolences to your children

Ab

As long as I can get my school sensible I can play as long as I want every day

First of all, I usually spend anything between 2 and 14h on the computer…

Since you are asking here, I think that your children think too much on the computer / laptop / etc. Sit…

Vlt. Helps you:

Just have a look at what your children are doing all day on the computer… In my case, I program almost exclusively on the PC and play when it comes up 1 - 2x a month for a few hours, the rest is education and music…

As a parent, you can influence how long your children can sit on the PC and, for example, force them to switch off, or alternatively you can use this as a kind of family time, depending on what your children are doing on the PC (e.g. Rainbow or MC or play whatever) - play with it, so you build up a good relationship with your children and consolidate them and further, you see yourself that playing games for example does not necessarily have to be bad and definitely have learning effects…

There are of course extremes, but I neglect them here -

However, I advise against a kind of regulation like "2 / 3h per day on the PC, in case you think about something" - do something like flexible PC game-free days, on which you do something "offline", when the weather is nice…

I myself was also lucky for a time with my parents that they regulated this and felt that it was zml. Well. Especially since it is not simply said "ne do something different" - does not bring you much as a child when almost everything is digital and friends, possibly no time or you are not mobile ^^

But apart from that, the solution from @ 3malZuchthaus is also an option…

I'm the poor child.

Since I don't have any, they don't spend time - anywhere, not even on digital media.

But if there's one in the planning, I would be happy to arrange it.
