One question, have 2 school-age children,
Like all children, my kids are homeschooled. My question is, can I go on vacation with my kids? We have a holiday apartment in Turkey, I thought it would be a break for all of us if we could have a little variety.
We can take a laptop, books, notebooks with us and learn there and attend online lessons.
But I'm just not sure about compulsory schooling and the departure at customs if the officials want to have an exemption from school presented.
You shouldn't travel, but keep the contacts as low as possible. Is it so difficult to understand that it is not appropriate to travel right now?
No. It is better not to travel at the moment.
I'm also in home schooling myself and was on vacation with my parents (in our holiday apartment) but in Germany I would just clarify this with the school but I can't imagine that it is forbidden because they do everything the others do. So either ask school or just do it
I know, you shouldn't… We don't have anybody there either, so contact. I just thought that the children can get something, experience something else, etc. But my question about customs, airport, compulsory schooling has not been answered…
Nobody in Germany noticed. Abroad, there's the border police.
Yes, that's right, so just ask at school.
You will get into trouble.
I haven't seen my children in almost a year. And since mid-November we're not even allowed to leave the state.
You're supposed to stay home and damn it not travel is that so hard to understand? There's a lockdown for a reason…
OK
