I got a laptop from work for the home office. I can't connect the laptop via W-Lan, it says "Driver could not be installed". I think there's a lock in there. Now my question, can you still somehow connect cables or something to bypass this lock or is there no way?
Try USB
Sure you could try to connect the laptop to your network via cable. It would be easier, however, to simply connect the printer to the laptop with a cable - you have to install drivers either way.
Before you do any experiments and afterwards get into trouble with your employer's IT department: Please ask beforehand.
I think only the administrator can install and uninstall software on this laptop. Contact your administrator.
Then the employer must also provide you with a suitable printer.
