Since we have some stress with the landlord, because all windows are completely leaky and brown water comes out of the drain in places.
Now we have a door in the apartment, which means that the landlord (if he wants to go to the basement) could enter our apartment at any time if we're not there.
To be on the safe side, I asked myself whether there's an inexpensive way to set up a camera at a point in the apartment that is aimed at this door, which will start when something moves in front of the camera. These film recordings are then transferred to a paired smartphone or laptop so that they can be documented in the event of an incident.
Could someone help me by chance?
Lock the door that leads to your apartment. The landlord does not have to have a key.
Take a look at the cameras from ARLO (aka.Arlo-Cams ^^ + g).
Are relatively cheap, film in HD (with motion detector), also have night vision and automatically record, save the video online and you will receive an email and a notification on the app where you can have a look.
The cams are powered by rechargeable batteries - so you don't need to lay any cables - and the signal is transmitted via Wi-Fi (so no cables either).
