I bought a new laptop. When I plugged in my earphones on the first day, I was asked each time whether it was a headset or something else. Now, however, I can no longer choose this and the headphones are obviously recognized as a headset, because if I now use with inserted headphones Teamspeak, Discord or Skype hear my interlocutors not as long as the headphones are plugged. What can I do? Incidentally, I use Windows 10.
Ah, I know exactly what's going on.
Enter "Realtek" in your search bar and then you should already see the Realtek High Definition Audio Manager.
In it, you should see a small folder on the top right above the jacks on which you click on it and tick a check mark for something with "ask" or "ask".
What should be the difference between head set and headphones?
Sadly, this is not the case. I do not have a Realtek High Definition Audio Manager.
A headset is a combination of headphones and microphone.
Not? That's funny. Which driver do you have?
