I have pictures and some movies on my laptop. It always worked well, but now flickers for 2 months, the screen and do not know what's going on. The PC specialist said he first needs 69 euro to look through the PC. I myself do not know what's going on, hope you can help me!
The screen can be separated / dismantled from the plastic. Certainly there's a loose connection between the computer and the screen. Have already had the problem and could fix it. Most of the time at the bottom of the screen rubber caps under which hide small screws and the rest of the frame is with plastic tases together. Just do some research and try.
Often this is a sign that either the cable has a break or guard contact, or that the display itself is in the last few moves.
If an external monitor works, that's a sign that it's not the motherboard.
So first test with external screen, and then consider a new laptop in the eye. I have no good experience with repairs of older laptops (4 years +).
First, see if the hardware is OK (which I suppose): Boats from a Linux DVD from a Linux magazine, then you can use Linux live (Windows can't do that).
Just start some programs on the elegant Linux desktop and open a website. If this works, Windows is unable to control the computer. Linux can also be installed legally and without a key legally and as a full version - in addition to widos.
At linuxmint.com there's the DVD image free of charge and without restriction.
Linux is much better equipped than Winos and even more user friendly.
