Hi, I was so extremely stupid and poured some water on my laptop keyboard. Actually, everything still works, just the "h" and "g" button not (just use the "insert option" xD) It was not much water, but the two buttons just do not work anymore. The whole thing happened yesterday at 17:00, now, the next day (13:00) she does not go anymore. What should I do?

Had similar problems with my keyboard (not laptop). Initially, I, G, H, L and you did not go, then a few more were added. Have tried various tips such as rice or dry by blow-drying, but in the end helped only send in one. Fortunately, I still had my guarantee with Corsair, which gave me a replacement fairly quickly, even though I stated that the damage was self-inflicted.

Water can lead to total loss and so a mistake would also void the warranty. Due to the short circuit components break down, but if only a few keys are affected, you can probably still fix that. Before you do that, call all the repair shops in your area, describe the problem and compare the prices. Some run outright usury and you should filter out these charlatans before!

If it's just the keyboard, you could do a repair yourself. Keyboard changes are usually not difficult on most laptops; check the Internet for instructions on your model. Everything at your own risk, of course.
