Is it already looking for an alcohol?

Lately, I'm thinking about my Teinkverhalten and wonder if it is already addictive: For me it is so that I usually drink so 1-2 times a week, which is actually still in the norm. Now, after 4-5 days without alcohol, I have to remember drinking all the time. I do fitness and would like to lose some weight, but that, because the desire is so great that I do not drink it. It bothers me a lot because then I have such a bad conscience. Sometimes I do not go to university the next day, I would have to. If there's no party this week, I'll just have a drink in front of the laptop watching the movie. Do you think that a dependency already exists? Although it is said that until 3l beer a week is not problematic, but I would like to drink only every 2 weeks but can't do it. When I go to addiction counseling with such a problem, they show me a bird… After all, there are people who drink 10 times as much as I do…

I learned it then that you have developed an addiction when you can't live without it. And as you describe it, I would say that you have developed a dependency. And if it's just a small one. Something like that can sometimes be followed by bad ones (strong dependency, for example).

You drink regularly 1-2 times a week. This is called habit drinker. Sooner or later, this will turn into full-blown alcohol dependence.

'' Although it is said '' people react differently and therefore such popular wisdom is not always accurate and to enjoy with caution

You are not addicted yet if you spend several days without alcohol. Still, the thought of it is not pretty, but it could also be stress related. Get alcoholic beer, my husband says that it's the same as the taste of regular beer, and look how you react.
