I want to cut and edit videos using the Kdenlive program. I have never worked with Kdenlive before and now I have the problem that I can't get most of the video clips that I want to insert into the program. They just don't show up to me except for one. Does anyone know why and how I can do it? (The clips are screen recordings from an Apple device that I sent to the laptop via Messenger.)
As far as I know, you can just drag the clips into the Project Bin. At least that's how it works for me. If that doesn't work for you, your clips seem to be in some video format, which Kdenlive can't handle.
Is there any way to convert the video format?
You can find video converters for pretty much every platform, so you probably can. But don't ask me what the converters for MacOS are called. I do not know that.
