Minecraft won't start?

I have a problem with Minecraft because the launcher crashes immediately after starting Minecraft and an error message appears on the screen.

PS: I play on a laptop and have the operating system Ubuntu 18.04

Br

Download Badlion Client and give it a try…

Hy

Badlion Client does not support Linux

Tr

What is the error message?

Hy

It's some unknown problem

After starting Minecraft I come back into the launcher and there's a small text that the game crashed due to errors

Tr

Start the game with the output log and send the error messages here. It works like this:

Open launcher
Click Settings at the bottom left
Check "Open output log as soon as games start"
Start the game
Only check the "Output", "Warn", "Error" and "Fatal" check boxes.
Copy everything that is there and send it in here.

Hy

Thank you.

I will be back tomorrow and will send the error messages

Hy

Process crashed with exit code 127

Tr

Ah, is a known Linux bug. Does your Java mean is too old / new. Send yourself a tutorial on how to get Java 8.

Tr

Do the following:

Open Bash / Terminal and type: sudo apt install openjdk-8-jre
Open the Minecraft Launcher
Click on Installations
Double-click the 1.8.9 installation
Click on "More Options"
Change the Java program file to the path / usr / lib / jvm / java-8-openjdk-amd64 / bin / java

Hy

Thank you so much!

Now the question is how can I run LabyMod with which command?

Tr

"Command"?

You go to the launcher, select the labymod profile and click on games, you don't need an order?

Or do you mean how to run the installer?

Enter into the console (which must be open in the same folder):

java -jar LabyMod3_Installer.jar

Hy

Okay thanks

Tr

Please, I'm glad that I could help you.

Thanks for the star.

Wish you a lot of fun playing ^^

Hy

Oh, but it says Unable to access this jarfile

Tr

Did you open the console in the same folder?

And is the name of the jar file correct?

Hy

Yes and yes…

Tr

Then it should work.

Please check whether you have misspelled the path or the file name.

If not then ask as a new question, preferably with a screenshot of the bash.
