Monitor is not working on the laptop?

Got me a 300euro monitor brought the jz I have infected with his HDMI cable, the monitor is synonymous but: No signal, after 2 seconds this goes away and the monitor is in a kind of "sleep mode". In the display settings, I can't find the box to add a monitor to my laptop.

Adding a monitor to a laptop does not make much sense with a 300 euro monitor. Unless the laptop is not a bad thing. It's just so from a philosophical point of view. Otherwise you will find this setting under "Display" or in the nVidia system setting

Have you already tested the monitor on another device?

Normally they are recognized automatically.

Also try out notebook, then connect monitor and then start notebook.

Look on the internet for a guide. For example, from "Chip", which usually explain quite well🙂
