I recently bought a new laptop. When I wanted to pull my old pictures from my last laptop to the new one, half of my files were displayed as usual, the other half, however, only with the "Photo Icon", so that I can't see in the folder on the mere view of which Photos are up until I open the file. This has been like this for a while now, maybe someone can help me?
Did you choose big icon at view?

To switch on the preview function, press the key combination [Alt - P] in Windows Explorer or use the menu item View - Preview window. Now mark a file in the left window and you should get a small view of the content on the right.

That's not what I mean. I have zero view on my pictures until I click on them.
Are they all in the same file format?
