So I have a headset that is actually intended for the PC (i.e. Has a jack for the sound and one for the microphone - separately), but I also have a corresponding adapter.
The mic beats on my laptop, so it works.
It hits both with and without an adapter on the laptop.
If I now connect the headset (with the adapter) to my Xbox controller, the microphone does not work (the sound does).
What can that be?
First, you should find out that you have turned on voice chat. Maybe your mic is also on mute. If none of this applies, I could recommend the Apple or Android headphones (I also use them). However, I googled afterwards and there's a lot about it. So it's best to google.
