Explain to me whether or how to turn off the hints for more videos on YouTube at the end of the videos?

Here comes the one who has no idea about cell phone, notebook or tablet settings and needs your help.

Recently, I've been watching videos on YouTube more often, but for a few days now, at the end of the video, this reference to more videos is coming up. The stupid… These hints are in the middle of the video, so that you can't see the last sections of the actual video. Does anyone know how I can turn this off and if so, can this someone explain that idiot-proof? I would be really grateful.

Ma

No, you can't switch that off. Those who create the videos insert the notes themselves.
(As long as you mean those standing in the middle of the screen)

ra

Does not work, unless you download the video.

Ja

In some cases, these boards are indeed very disturbing. But the sad news: you can't change that.

It is the operators of the channels themselves who activate these end panels and determine what is shown there.

an

Too bad… That's totally stupid. I find it strange that this has only been a few days. Before that, I had no problems with that. Well… You do not have to understand everything, because the creators of the videos then break their own videos.

I thank you for your answer.

an

That's really crazy. Well, I have to accept it then.

an

Many thanks for your response. Yes, it is very disturbing and also illogical. I can understand the advertising itself, but it makes no sense to destroy its own video… At least the end of it. Since you can bring these ads synonymous so that the video itself takes no harm.

Well, I do not have to understand everything in the world.

Ja

For the creators, this potentially means more views and higher attention they can place on specific content. Since most of them will only activate this globally for all videos, then you have just in videos that are not designed to keep free in the last few seconds place a corresponding annoyance.

ra

Yes a bit stupid, but it's only about the last 10 seconds approximately. Not so tragic. Find it also quite user-friendly. The video should be adapted accordingly extended.
