Have a somewhat funny construction hehe. So I connected a laptop to a monitor, this monitor has a speaker and an audio input for headphones. I bought a headset for laptop switch cell phone etc so only with one connection. But when I do that in the computer is only playback and the recording is on the laptop itself is not on the headset and if I want to set it to me does not appear. (The laptop itself is with the headset but it wanted to have the monitor) Thanks in advance
The connection to your monitor is a pure audio output, so only the sound that is otherwise output through the monitor.

At least I do not know a headset, which leads loudspeakers and Micro over a connection, except now USB or RJ-11 (or what are called those still, those for telephone / modem) plug.

Alternatively, you can buy a Y-cable for audio out, so you have a free socket. And there can remove the audio-out signal and plug directly on the laptop directly into the Micro, if you then should have 2 * 3.5 mmm jack.
