I bought my own laptop for Fresco, I did the research, I asked and hacked the support. I will not get fresco. But do you have any good alternatives?
If I understand that correctly, you're looking for a drawing program. It is of course advantageous if you have a good (graphic) tablet. I personally use the Krita software. Is free and can be expanded.
I can also recommend Inkscape https://inkscape.org/de/. This is a free vector graphics program for Windows, Mac and Linux. Vector graphics have the advantage that they can be scaled without loss. You can also download extensions there.
I also recommend taking a look at the Community Gallery, where you can see what is possible with Inkscape.
Inkscape also works with any graphics tablet.
