Monitor turns to 60hz in full screen?

I have connected a 144hz monitor to my laptop. Unfortunately my monitor does not support 60 + hz with HDMI 1.4 so I overclocked it to 86hz. If I now go into games (no matter which one), my monitor automatically switches to 60hz. I can only enjoy 86hz in windowed mode.

I always closed my laptop and didn't open any programs in it.

How can I solve this problem?

You have to set the desired refresh rate in both the graphics driver and the monitor (in my monitor it is called HDMI Overdrive)
