Desktop black bar?

My laptop desktop sometimes flickers on. Then a black bar appears on the page and then it is back to normal. Sometimes that happens more often in a row. I streamed a lot in the past and there are more tabs like that. Could it be that I got myself a virus? With virus scanner programs I've already tried, they will not find anything.
