I have a laptop model: Aspire 6935 and in the games I play that also creates 60 fps, but there's still Vista on it and the support for Vista ends so everywhere so slow, my question is now: would be a Change to win 7.8 or is there any loss of performance?
And if so which operating system can you recommend?
For Vista, the support has long expired. Windows 7 as well. He is still running for 8 but is slowly coming to an end.
since it is a laptop from the Vista time, windows 10 is probably not an option due to the drivers. So I would just stay with vista. Windows 7 would be a possibility but there's the support long gone.
Many intestines
Windows 10 hardly needs more "ressourchen" than Windows Vista. So it should not slow down. From 4 GB RAM Win 10 runs well, 8 GB would be perfect.
Problems might occur that drivers are no longer available for Win 10. This would then possibly mean that e.g. The touchpad is not working.
It would be nice if there was still room in the laptop for a second SSD hard drive. This will deliver the laptop much faster (load times)
I recommend you create a full image of your current Vista (for example, Aomei Backupper Standard) and then try it with Win 10.
Windows 7-8 make little sense in my view, as the extended support here is already running out
In general, I would first secure your VISTA completely on an external medium. With an associated emergency media, you can then VISTA and all your programs and data again at any time 1: 1: https://www.easeus.de/backup-software/todo-backup-free.html
Then secure your Vista drivers with the tool double driver on an external disk:

Then install Windows 7. The VISTA drivers, you may be able to install under Windows 7, but you probably need a new Realtek audio driver.
Alternatively you could perhaps equip your old computer with an SSD (if the interface allows it). Especially VISTA is in constant access to the system drive.
