Unfortunately I accidentally deleted data from my USB (SanDisk). I tried Recuva. Apparently it worked but I can't open the files. Maybe someone has an idea? Can this be because the data is from a computer with Windows 10 and my laptop has Windows 7?

No, but Recuva is not the best tool. Try r-Studio or UFS Explorer…

But you should be very careful in Windows because as soon as Windows triggers the TRIM command, your data is over… Therefore, ideally you should take an image and then work on it.
