Screen shows nothing but if there's light on it?

I have a problem with my Samsung Notebook NP-SE11H

and it shows nothing but if there's light on the screen then it will

You have to adjust the brightness

Select setup on the monitor and then increase the brightness

Make the brightness brighter or replace the backlight

It doesn't do anything

Think brightness, right?

You can only see something when there's light on

What is backlight

The light behind the screen is probably broken

Thank you I've searched Backlight in Youtube and found the same problem several times and will fix it tomorrow
