There were two options to reset and I selected those that cleaned up the drive and all files.

You have to google this, it's possible. I assume you have not reset a drive, but Windows. And that's why I would not ruffle but put on new. If you do not understand the instructions or can't google them then you should go to a computer technician and have it done.

There are no settings for it. The right Windows Iso you load with the Isodownloader from Microsoft down.
Then you make a suitable USB stick clear. Install Windows 10 from USB stick Googling the manual. And then you boot from the USB stick, delete all partitions, create a new one and just reinstall. Then proceed as described.
For the drivers, either use the driver search from the device manager or, if it does not find any current drivers, download them from the manufacturer side.

Load (on another machine if yours does not start) at Microsoft Windows Media Creator and start it. The then creates an "ISO file", which burns on a CD / DVD (I remember: Oldie), or he created directly a USB stick - the latter I recommend. You also need a Windows license - either your old (for example, Windows 7 or later) or a new one from the second-hand market.
For Windows I can't recommend the updates. But from Windows 10 Pro you can reset the function updates (and only the) something - like others to play the beta tester and you even install only if the update is considered stable even after 2 weeks. Security updates should not be delayed, or at most by hours.
Instead of Windows, you can also use a Linux distribution. The free works on weak hardware often works better if you take the right environment (down to Damn Small Linux).
